BILGE The system is divided into two lines, with the following characteristics:

●Main bilge system composed of 6 automatic and independent pumps located in each watertight compartment:>> 2 in the engine room (fore and aft)>> 2 (1 on each side) beside the diesel tank>> 1 (central) forward of the gray / blackwater tank>> 1 (central) fore service compartment(below owner's tray) and controlled through microswitches Each electric pump can be controlled either manually or automatically.

●secondary or auxiliary bilge system, composed of 6 suction points located as follows: 1. 2 in the engine room

2. 2 on fuel tank side (1 on each side)

3. 2 at the bow Each suction point is connected through flexible piping to a manual valve and a main manifold located in the engine room, from where it is possible to select one or more selector switches for emptying the relevant bilge. The secondary bilge system is connected in parallel to the fire extinguishing and chain washing system, therefore in case of engine room pump fault, it is possible to operate special three-way valves and use the fore (chain wash) pump. A second electric pump (connected in parallel to the electric bilge pump) operating as a backup can be connected through three-way valves incase of main pump fault.   The bilge system shall also be equipped with:

●Engine room emergency bilge system, through bypass on the engine sea water in take: this system allows sucking the water from the engine room using the cooling pump of the main engines.

Fire extinguishing system

●1 system manual activation control in the cockpit

●System indicators/reset on internal and flybridge dashboards and also in the crew room.

●1 106 liter gas extinguisher in the engine room with nozzles located above the engines

●2 hoses located in the compartment un-der the cockpit's ladder and in the chain locker at the bow

The system operates as follow:

1.Closing the valves on fuel delivery lines to engines and generators

2. it is possible to use either the chain washing pump located at the bow or the auxiliary bilge pump located in the engine room (one as a replacement for the other incase of fault) as salt water hose supply pump.

Utilities: all utilities are supplied with hot and cold water, except for the engine room.
